Welcome to Week-8 :)
- Please read Weekly-Blast 8, which has been posted on Ed (#310).
- The Midterm will start this weekend with the Without Snap! Portion (10/15 - 10/16), and the With Snap! Portion will take place 10/17 - 10/18. Please read the Midterm Logistics Post on Ed to familiarize yourself with Midterm policies (#296).
- The Midterm Review Session will be this Friday from 8 - 10 PM in the WOZ Lounge (Soda 430 - 438) and Online. A recording will also be available.
- Project 4 has been released! (See Ed Post #301) The essay portion is due 10/21, and comments are due 10/24. This is a solo project.
- Good luck on the midterm! You’re going to crush it :’)
Week 7 Announcements
Welcome to Week-7 :)
- Please read Weekly-Blast 7, which has been posted on Ed (#280).
- Project-3 is due on Thursday 10/06 at 11:59PM.
- Project 3 party will be held on Mon 10/3 2000hrs- 2200hrs (8-10PM) and Tue 10/4 0800-1000hrs (8-10AM). Both will be held in the Wozniak Lounge (Soda 430-438) and hybridly on Ohyay.
- The Midterm exam is coming up: get hyped!
Week 6 Announcements
Welcome to Week-6 :)
- Please read Weekly-Blast 6, which has been posted on Ed (#233).
- QUEST 2 logistics have been released (#225). It will open for ~24 hrs on Sat 10/1 at 12:01 AM PST and closes on Sat 10/1 at 11:59 PM PST.
- Project 3 : 2048, is due Thursday, 10/6, at 11:59 PM PST. More info on the Project Parties on 10/3 and 10/4 will be released soon!
- Reading Quiz 4 has been released on Gradescope. We will start to include Weekly Pulse Surveys in our Reading Quizzes to check in with you on how you’re feeling with the course and receive your feedback on how we can improve!

- QUEST scores have been released (#188) We will be releasing retake logistics this weekend.
- Project 2’s deadline was extended to Thursday, 9/22, at 11:59 PM PST.

- The Quest exam will be opened Sat 9/17 at 0001hrs through Sunday 9/18 at 2359hrs. Please read the Quest logistics post on Ed (#132) and take the practice quest so you can have PrarieLearn set up prior to your exam!

Week 1 Announcements
Welcome to CS-10 :)
- Some parts of the website (specifically: the staff page and the extensions form section on the syllabus) are still under construction and will be updated soon.
- Please read Weekly-Blast 1, which has been posted on Ed (#4). If you don’t have access to Ed, email cs10@berkeley.edu ASAP.
- Note that there is no required checkoff for lab-1. However, please do attend Lab section this week.
- Lecture slides, recordings, and live streams + Discussion recordings can be found in the “CS10 Calendar” below.
- Times and locations for daily CS-10 occurences can be found in the “Daily Schedule”
- The course syllabus linked on this website and the weekly blasts are required readings. We will expect that everyone has read them.
- We strongly encourage students to wear a mask in all CS-10 in-person activities: lecture, lab, discussion, OH, etc. Let’s try to be considerate to everyone- there may be immuno-compromised classmates who need us to be as safe as we can!
