WHERE DID YOU GROW UP? WHAT WAS YOUR PATH TO CAL?

I grew up in New York (more specifically Long Island if you know what that is). Since I was a kid I’ve wanted to come to California to get away from the freezing cold winters on the east coast, so I’m very happy to be at Cal. I came in as an intended physics major actually, but CS10 and subsequent CS classes changed that.

HOW MUCH PROGRAMMING HAVE YOU DONE (& WHAT LANGUAGES)?

CS10 was my first time programming a little over a year ago, so not much LOL. Through CS classes I’ve learned Snap!, Python, Scheme, SQL, and Java. I’m currently teaching myself Swift as I struggle to make an iOS app.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?

Hanging out with friends, playing sports/video games, or really just anything fun. I like fun. And I have major FOMO when I’m not having it.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR TALENTS & SKILLS?

I cook hands down the best scrambled eggs you’ll ever eat.

HAVE YOU DONE ANYTHING REMARKABLE? HAS ANYTHING MEMORABLE HAPPENED TO YOU?

Burke kinda sounds like Berkeley, so that’s nice.

WHAT COMMITMENTS WILL BE CONSUMING YOUR CYCLES THIS SEMESTER?

I’m taking an online class in addition to teaching CS10. I’m also trying to hit up the RSF every day after realizing I have no stamina. Eating healthier is on my to-do list too, but that very much conflicts with my love for ice cream and chips.
